Just a massive, massive thank you to everyone that donated to the WormPower project, raising money for SiKanda, a fantastic organization in Oaxaca, Mexico, that work with people who live and work on the municipal rubbish dump.
Thanks to your generosity, we managed to raise £1,200 for SiKanda, which actually works out at just over £1 per mile: surpassing our original target!
This money will pay for worm composting units and training for every family on the basurero (rubbish dump), as well as for related educational materials about waste for schools.
